Between Rouses and Winn-Dixie near my house and Zuppardo's in Metairie, I wait until they put them on sale for $.99 a lb. and stock up.
I just used my last 2 this past weekend, one to make Italian sausage and one to stuff and roast with sweet potatoes.

Yep, much easier to use for sausage making IMO. But they are more expensive since the local grocery stores will have them on sale for 1/2 the price frequently.

Hell, it's not the bone that is the issue with pork butts used for sausage making, it's getting off all the sinew so it's not being ground up with the meat.
It takes me WAY longer to part out the butt and removing all the gelatinous fat and sinew as opposed to the minute or so to take out the blade bone.

Saw them yesterday. Super1 has them for 1.29
