according to that map Raceland is bigger than Thibodaux...

funny thing was if the Morganza wouldn't have opened i would have gone home to Raceland (from Sorrento/Gonzales), but now it looks like my parents ALMOST need to come up here to my house!

Firend works for the DOTD. Hey have been adding to the hieght of the levee around Amelia 24 hrs a day for a few days now. He went today to relieve his boss. THey are puting dirt and compacting it also. Should hold if they make it high enough.

Oh, yeah. Highway 10 at that point is eight miles north of that bridge.
