Just heard a fella with the ACOE state this exact sentence on WJBO.
Said it would occur from levee over topping just south of campus and backwaters flowing towards the north would inundate a majority of campus.

I'm assuming they are talking about the pinnacle site?

Quote from the Advocate this morning
quote:that is exactly what I heard.
“If we operate Morganza, there won’t be overtopping. If we don’t operate Morganza … about three miles south of Baton Rouge, we will have significant overtopping there. LSU and a couple of other significant infrastructure would be inundated,” said U.S. Army Maj. General Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers.

while it would suck most kids would be off campus when this happens. Most kids will be gone by the end of this week, and if the rivers overtop the levees it will be in 2 weeks not this week.
