not to be a threat to people who live near the levees?

as in there won't be major flooding if there is a breach, or its low enough for there to be no threat of breaching.

I'll rephrase to ask when do we expect for them to remove the constant flood warning we are under currently?

I'm pretty sure they removed the flood warning for New Orleans already.

As for higher up the river, that's just going to be played by ear; especially with the levee seepage in Baton Rouge.

According to our sources, water will be back to a normal stage (level) some time near June 23rd or so. It will be at a "safe" level before then.

Anyone wanna take a guess when they will allow foot/bike traffic back on the levee?

Water isn't always at the levees.
