I like it. It's alot smoother than CS3. I hate the way the image window is always maximized until you drag the filename box and then you can size it how you like. But i've kinda got used to that.

I have looked at some CS3 and CS4 on ebay. As briefly as possible what do they do that a 7.0 won't do and is it worth the money?
I see somepeople use the more advanced software to frame pics and what not. Is that the only difference?

Seriously though, as a user of both I'll tell you what, it isn't the computer . . . it's the OS. Unfortunately, PC's are now saddled with Vista. If you're under the impression that Vista is a better OS, you're whacked. Macs on the other hand run Windows XP perfectly (or Vista if you're dumb enough to install it). You'll usually pay more for a Mac. That's the drawback.
Vista may be the biggest corporate product screw-up since the introduction of "New Coke".

the OS is fantastic, and you can easily get it for free. Since you already bought a mac, and it can only be run on mac hardware (easily, properly and without a bunch of hacking to get it to work on a pc system) they don't have any security or serials on it. I got a legit copy of leopard for free and installed it no problem. When the next one comes out, I'll probably get that one for free too.

You are certainly right Tigah. You can pick up a $30 Mac 400 mhz and I guarantee you it will outperform the most expensive PCs.
To use photo shop it is best to have the dual processor though.
The Tiger 4 os installs are becoming hard to find. Apple doesn't make them anymore and they are better than the leopard in my opinion. I have a leopard and a tiger and use the tiger. It has a root password also and the new leopard does not.
I got away from microsoft years ago.
