Hi guys.

Can anyone take this picture and enlarge it? I know it's old and grainy, so it's out of my amatuer photoshop league.

If possible, the family would like to make this a 5x7 or a 4x6.

This is the best pic i've got. It's from his obituary card, so it's small and not the best quality like I said.

TIA to anyone that could do this.

Here is my attempt. It's difficult because of the original resolution

posted a couple so you had options, as stated by shark the resolution makes this a difficult one to work with. First one came out too pixelated so i think this one is better...

Thanks for all of the replies.

I tried to fool with it for a while, I couldnt figure it out without it looking bad.

I know it's a tough project, I appreciate all the attemps.

Any photoshop pro's that attempt this care to give a few tips on a photo restoration like this?

My try at it, I use gimp and not a pro, but just play around with the color settings, in an old pic usuallu the first thing I do is go to colors and select yellow and then scale down the saturation.

You used a filter for that Booger? Looks like could use that on something else I have to play around with.

I did most of it by hand with a few different tools, the only "filter" I used were settings in Camera Raw. (I don't personally consider Camera Raw a traditional filter...it is basically its own program inside of Photoshop)

Thanks all. I have sent these to the family. Looks like they are satisfied.

Fark Board delivers. Again.

Thanks again.
