I have a gif I want to use as an avatar, but it says it's too big. How can I shrink it?

You have to reduce the size and # of colors enough to where the image doesn't lose too much quality.
The smaller the size and length of the animation, the easier it is to reduce it. Large and lengthy animations are difficult to get it down small enough and keep it to where it is viewable.
If you don't have any programs to reduce it, post it here and I'll give it a shot.
