Font help

I have yet to master how to find and implement fonts that look better than the default stuff. Can someone help me out.

I want it to say something like
"2010-11 Reloading the Pistol" across the top.

FWIW I don't care about anyone's opinions about how good/bad our team will be next year. It won't make me love them any less

For free fonts, check out:

www.dafont.com

That is where I get mine. You can make some pretty cool effects fairly easily.

what do you do once your on the font website? how do you download the font into your photoshop?

I don't use photoshop but I assume it works similar to Paint.net. You download the TFF file. Then put it in your FONT folder in Windows (if you use Mac, I have no idea).

Paint.net uses the Windows fonts. I guess Photoshop would too as it is a much more powerful program but I'm not certain.

yea timdallenger you are very helpful. I have been trying to figure this out and, just like when I was a young man in school, would not ask the question, lol some things never change.
