No. It's obvious that Mel is pretty sloppy when it comes to leaving evidence... He'd get his arse convicted.
I was kinda trying to project a scenario where Mel is along the lines of "Hey... Devil on my shoulder... tell me that story about that night you were hangin' out with OJ... HI-larious. Cracks me up every time!"
