I don't really care how it is decided, but a few notes:

1. You had 12 hours to drop a player. The trade went through at 12:04 am.
2. You could have dropped a player BEFORE the trade went through. As soon as the lineups locked on Friday, you could have made the drop. Your roster would have been legal for Friday's games then made legal for Saturday's as soon as Lilly was added to your team. Keep that in mind the next time the situation comes up.

I wasn't around to change it, i went out late and woke up late.

Well, only one went through on Saturday. I'm not trying to be a dick, but if you knew you were going out on Friday night, and you knew you were gonna sleep in the next morning, it's kinda on you.

Again, not trying to be a dick. I don't know how we resolve this, short of following what the rules dictate.

I know how to resolve it, but I'll know how it will go.

I really wish CBS would be more consistent. They let lineups stand as is if someone comes off the DL and becomes active, yet remains on your DL for a day or 2.

and they really need the option to pre set your roster right after a trade. ESPN has had this since 1997.

I figured people would bitch though. Yall have a good day, im going hang by the pool

I think your points should count. It's not like you are bitching about not getting to add certain players to your starting lineup.

yeah, thanks HNIC. It was an extra player who isnt even in the majors who I dropped before the games even started. Just right after the lineup lock.

That's fine, and applauded. But, you can't come on here and basically say "OK, I'm thinking about fantasy baseball now. I made a mistake. Let's get it fixed."

I agree with all of this.

Very true. And it's not like the move gave LE an unfair advantage.

Im debating if i want to go with the "rules are rules, BRO" approach or the analytical breakdown of why it shouldn't be changed prefaced with an "i dont care what happens, but.."

I gave reasons for both why it should and shouldn't be changed, fwiw.

If we give the commish the final say on trades that get 8 objections, maybe future issues regarding lineup frick ups can be decided by the commish also.

That's great for the future. I don't think it would be fair to make that change midseason.
