12 team ppr. 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex k and def

I traded mostert (I know this is probably a bad trade but I had drafted achane and wanted to get some value and diversify the teams my running backs play for before achane completely took over and made mostert worthless) and laporta for rhamondre and hunter Henry,

Then I turned around and traded James cook, Christian Watson and courtland Sutton for Tj hockenson, waddle and dalvin cook.

My new line up in 12 team ppr

Fields
Achane, ekeler, Stevenson, cam Akers, dalvin cook.
Davante Adams, Calvin Ridley, Jaylen waddle
Tj hockenson, hunter Henry,
Lions kicker
Ravens defense.

I’ll have two waiver wire spots due to sending more players out then incoming. Possibly a third if I drop hunter Henry. What positions would you target??

I was thinking Tyjae spears, lance thomas, Matt stafford, j hill, e mitchell, d Vaughn, and Jamal Williams and putting him on my IR spot.. any recommendations?

Spears.

Honestly I’d start those three WR each week and deal with the ups and downs. Waddle is a pain so far this year I’m sure, so easier to say as I don’t own him.

Oh I’m absolutely starting those three wideouts every week. With my running back rotation being achane and ekeler and just rotate the best matchup during a bye week or injury.

I just wanted to know which waiver targets I should go after. Not because I want to start them just in case my guys get the injury but…

So I guess I’m looking to target waiver wire athletes who have long term upside should someone get hurt on their team or something like that. I’m not looking for anyone that I have to start in the next few weeks.

That’s why I was thinking tyjae and maybe Vaughn if pollard gets hurt or e Mitchell if mccaffery gets hurt.

I do think I should have a quarterback backup too in case fields has a bad matchup or injury. My options are stafford, d Watson, baker

Achane won’t completely take over. He isn’t built for that kind of workload. Even if Mostert gets hurt then they will just mix in Jeff Wilson when he gets healthy.

Is Brock Purdy available? Seems more dependable than Fields.

Wow, y'all still don't like Fields. Interesting. I thought he had some good matchups coming up.

I love Purdy, but I refuse to trust Stafford after last season. Perhaps that's wrong, but he burned me too much to ever forgive.

I understand and you are right.. very few running backs completely take over a running back rotation.. but I think people are selling achane short in that aspect. He can block well for his size, can catch and run route for 3rd down, and I think he’s more durable then most think. Not that I can see the future but there is a reason I drafted him as my only rookie this year. I saw him being solid albeit later in the season and not this electrifying.. but then also there is the delimma that the dolphins bye week hits me twice as hard that week. Plus for some reason I just never envisioned myself being able to start both mostert and achane… so I figured I might as well diversify my lineup a little bit. Like I said from a pure points perspective I probably took a hit… but I like to have all my eggs not in one basket and to have options. Didn’t feel like I could play both mostert and achane unless one was injured. Not to mention I have waddle so 3 dolphins starting for me seemed to be a little too over invested

No purdy, Stafford, ridder, mayfield, pickket, jones, Wilson, tannehill and young.

I do have the depth to trade for a solid backup quarterback.. wouldn’t get a star but could get a middle of the pack guy or someone who has been underperforming if you have any suggestions

Didn’t follow him much last season.. not trying to make you “prove” your point I’m just curious if you could go into more detail? Injuries? Underperforming? What was his deal?

I like Stafford. When I was in 7th grade he took my high school to the state championship and dominated.. also used to go to baseball games and watch him catch pitches from Kershaw.. don’t think I ever saw 1 person steal second when both those arms were in lol
