Who are the waiver RB pickups that we can look into from week 1?!

Last year, RB rooms were riddle with injury. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever see anything like it. But it paved a way for names like Robinson, Davis, Gallman, etc…

Who might be the early season pickups for ‘21?

Possibly: SF Mitchell/Hasty (do something Sermon), CHI Williams, DAL Pollard. HOU Ingram only rostered in 11% of ESPN leagues.

Mitchell will be the top pickup this week. Looks to be the starting RB for the best running offense. And Shanahan straight up said yesterday that Sermon got beat out by Mitchell and Hasty
- knowing this info, we can easily conclude that Hasty will be the leading rusher next week and Sermon will be the second fiddle and Mitchell will be rested, bc that’s how Shanahan works

Shanahan

This is the problem. He’s the king of saying one thing to the press then doing something completely different.

I want to get out of the SF backfield but it’s valuable if you can hit right. May just drop my second QB and carry Sermon and Mitchell for a bit.

Yep, Shanahan’s MO in press conferences and talking to the media is to weaponize them against his opponents

Yep, wouldn't surprise me if Sermon is the lead guy next week

I expect Jeff Wilson's midseason (or so) return to make that backfield even harder to predict. He looked good at the end of last season.

I take it you are 30% joking, but 70% dead serious.

Kenneth Gainwell is one going under the radar to keep an eye on. Preferred receiving back and got some work in the redzone. Miles Sanders is also injury prone

Looking forward to week 11 or so when SF has a five-man RBBC

Mostert, Sermon, Mitchell, Hasty and Wilson.
