Waivers on ESPN

I’m in 2 leagues on ESPN this year where the waiver order resets each week to the inverse of the order of standings. I’m guessing this is the default and the people who set up these leagues didn’t change it.

Am I the only one who thinks this takes away from the waiver strategy? There is no benefit to saving your waiver claim in order to move up in waiver order.

I prefer a FAAB system, but if no FAAB there should at least be some strategy involved. ESPN shouldn’t make this the default IMO.
