It’s an epitome of everything that’s wrong up there. Henry absolutely started all this bullshite. Once the casinos, who are in Martiny’s pocket, realized they had no chance, they got Martiny to kill fantasy.
And yes, I don’t know how Valerie Hodges gets elected. She is so dumb and acts like we are living in 1950.

Martiny isn’t 9. 9 is the district I’m in and it’s currently Conrad Appel. I really hope that sack of shite runs in my district so I can vote against him.

Everyone is saying - Looks like La will be 2 years before playing. Nobody seems confident. Maybe something can be done but this won’t be done by football season.

I sent an email to the governor's office to take a look at it. I brought up the idea of a special session to get it done. They could use the first 6 months or so of taxes to pay for the session. Nothing is going to happen but I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

There is something brewing where some sites think they can offer dfs in Louisiana without penalty. (The penalty would be not being allowed to get a license when the tax bill comes) but there is no way Louisiana can tell FD and DK no if that happens.
Something should be coming out in the next two weeks. One way or another but there is hope. Louisiana would be getting $0 income if this happens which would force the governor to sign a temporary bill. That’s what is being talked about between some high ups at DK that I know. All lawyers on deck pretty much.

John Bell vetoed the bill on Wednesday on the regulations since the taxation wasn't passed. So it's officially dead until 2021.
