Up by 0.4 with Justin Herbert left for me. Bench him? Opponent done.

Opponent is do e. Am up by 0.4 and got Herbert starting tomorrow. Do I bench him to secure win?
Am INT or Fumble with injury could cost me if he goes out without scoring any.
On the flip side a stat correction post MNF to any player on either roster could be the undoing as well if I bench Herbert.
Yes am overthinking but finals spot at stake.

This is reasonably likely. More so than door #1.

If you start Herbert and he gets negative points, you can sleep soundly knowing that you did absolutely nothing wrong and were just victim to a true act of god
If you sit Herbert and one of your runningback’s swing receptions gets changed into a run, you will be talking about how you fricked yourself out of a finals appearance for the rest of your fantasy football life

I think the odds of Herbert throwing a pick the first play while getting injured are MUCH lower than the odds you or your opponent get a stat correction that can move a 0.4 line.
You're taking a "risk" whichever way you decide. Just go with the higher likelihood and let the chips fall where they may
