Thanks for the analysis. I think its pretty spot on.

Ill be very hard to beat in the batting categories. I should be able to steal bases without sacrificing any power. I had myself along with Barry and Toula in the top 3 in hitting. Noone is out producing my bats on a week to week basis.

I think you had it right upon first glance in saying "frat is gonna be hard to beat".

My pitching is full of questions marks. Hell even my elite closer may be a starter (if hes a starter he gets a boost in value). But putting them at 10 is a bit low. I had them about 7-8. I went into the draft targeting about 10 starting pitchers I could get who would be great values and possible keepers down the road. I think I got 4. Hudson, Hughes, Bumgarner, Kennedy. Those starters paired with my closers, who all have great peripheral numbers, should be enough to at least be middle of the pack. And if one of those four doesnt step up, I can trade a bat.

thanks again, you took a lot of time to give us something to look at.

Ps, I won the league last year with billingsly as my ace...one of those guys will be that good imo , of course

Noted. This league obviously covets bats more than arms, and there is nothing wrong with that.

my rankings would be like this

1 adelaider her good- team knows what its doing. 2 stud pitchers, got some good productive veterans mid draft and later that arent declining. i see just about every player drafted helping this team except hte bottom 3 or so.

2 reds dead redemption- pretty damn solid team, whoever it belongs too understands value. got value in nearly every round, imo.

3 toula- another great value draft. pitching could raise an eyebrow with no front line stud, but has a bunch of good #2 guys that should allow him to comepte.

4 hot stove- also good some good value. Not many weakspots. Montero and Adam jones, good value. May have the best group of 3 pitchers in the league. Will definitely need to add more SP arms though.

5 croackin heads- i like the balance here. 4 really strong SP. Good top level hitters at the top. Grabs a few nice prospects i like as well.

6team 31- if morales heals, this team will be in good shape. i like the blend of young and old. a few reaches(nathan/hudson). great value on matuz.

7 dumasscajun- couldnt ignore his hitting. his pitching is easy to ignore for the most part. top 2 guys look good, the rest is pretty meh. unless peavy stays healthy, which is doubtful

8 frat- his hitting is pretty damn strong, id say top 3 or so in the league. His pitching is kind of WTF. Only has like 5 SP, and a lot of questions with those guys.

9 ce- nice hitters, pitchers are serviceable at best. they need to pitch as well as possible to be able to compete.

10 thomastj- hitting is way top heavy. will have trouble in power cats. Bret Myers was a nice steal late. his top 5 pitchers are pretty good.

11 naacps- im having a hard time deciding how to grade this team. I see a few good things, but too many questions. A lot of waste at the end of the draft.

12 msutiger- im not hating on you just to hate, but like i said i think you back half of draft was a waste. your top 7-8 guys are strong, but that doesnt win or even maintain in a league like this. I think you also took too many prospects rather than some proven veterans.

I think the only team LE and I have a large differential in opinion of is tthomasjr.

And LE may have overlooked that barry only has 4 starting pitchers total, and one of them is Beckett.

Thanks Lester, you have more confidence in my O than I do I guess. Like redd said, I realiy lack pop. Also besides ichiro I don't have much speed either. Will Adam Jones finally break out this year?

Interesting the discrepancy in opinion on Thomas...

Nah. 6th vs. 9th isnt too big. I just totally shat on 31's offense, that's all.

His pitching is legit.
