Wanted to trade Gronk for a WR1 or a top WR2 and RB2 after Dez went down and Gronk at peak value but missed out on Eifert and ASJ in waiver order
Standard 10-team with only 5 bench spots
I Drafted 10/11- took Dez and Gronk
I trade - Gronk, T.Williams, and Gore
I receive - Olsen, Forsett, and Sanders
My team as of now is
Qb- Wilson
Rb1- Hyde
Rb2- Gore
Wr1- Evans
Wr2- Williams
Flex- Blount
Te- Gronk
D- St. Louis
K- Gostkowski
(Bench is)
Rb- Gio
Rb- Sankey
Wr- Allen Robinson
Wr- Decker
Wr- Steve Johnson
IR- Dez of course

Thoughts if I should jump on this or hold serve and roll with what I have for now

My trade partner is trying to tinker now to avoid giving me Forsett(who he has been shopping to everyone lately) Offering Sanders, Olsen, T.coleman, and Percy for Gronk, Williams, and Gio
He has Forte and Demaryius at RB1 and WR1

I like your team? I think Stevie is going to be a very solid WR this year. The only real deficiency I see is Gore. Maybe Blount will make up for that?

I also have another trade on the table with me trading Gronk and Hyde for Alshon, CJ Anderson, and Jordan Cameron.
I like Alshon when he gets to full health with no more BM and hesitant about Anderson, who I passed on drafting in favor of Gronk, and hate Cameron with him being one hit away from retirement or unfortunately death.
We don't have divisions any more so top 6 teams make the playoffs. I'm never in favor of making big roster shifts this early but have a feeling If I don't make a splash move with the value I have right now, my team will sputter into mediocrity before Dez even gives me a shot.

Idk I was all hyped for Olsen this year drafted him in all of my leagues but he really pissed me off on Sunday. Really starting to hate my decision. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Agreed but should I really bank on Steve or any of my backup wrs to replace a large chunk of the weekly production I lost in Dez while holding tight with Gronk or make my play for a stud WR2 while I can and snag a TE who can give me 60 yds and a td every other week

Likewise. I took Dez over Julio in a toss up given both their injury history and Dallas elite OLine, healthy Romo, and defense that will force them to play from behind over Quinn's new D in ATL and subpar OLine. Immediately regretted after draft, thinking how they have a top 3 wr and failed to feed him until the end stretch of games last year while Julio simply didn't strike pay dirt in the red zone last year but still got his yds/targets

God no. Do not make this trade.

I would probably do this trade if he'll stick to it. Forsett is an upgrade over Gore, likewise with Sanders and Williams. Olsen is obviously a downgrade from Gronk, but I think Olsen will be solid this year. Who else is Cam going to throw to?

Sanders is still an upgrade over Williams. Coleman looked pretty good Monday night, but small sample size so who knows. Right now, I'd grade him better than Gio. I'm not buying Percy yet. For me, this trade is essentially Gronk and Williams for Sanders, Olsen, and Coleman (I don't currently see the others as start-able). I'd probably still make this trade, but I would prefer the first offer.
