CEH is likely the favorite for OROY - Burrow also has a strong chance as he should start 16 games at QB providing he stays healthy.
My darkhorse pick is CeeDee Lamb and I made sure to draft him to a couple of my fantasy teams for that reason.
Even as a rookie he should easily be the WR3 to start the season for what could/should be a fantastic fantasy offense this season. We know Amari disappears for stretches and will mostly always draw the #1CB of opposing teams which should give Gallup, Lamb and Jarwin a chance to take advantage of their matchups. There has also been some speculation that CeeDee will start or at least see ample time in the slot.
Last season Dallas finished 11th in PA per game - they return their OC and bring Mike McCarthy in as HC. When McCarthy was last a HC - 2018 in GB - the Packers finished 2nd in the NFL in PA per game. McCarthy teams have finished top 10 nine different times in pass attempts (six as HC of GB and three as OC of NO).
Zeke is poised for his third consecutive 300 carry season and will attract plenty of defensive attention as usual. With Dallas expected to have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL again this season, Dak should have plenty of time to find open receivers at all depths in the passing game.
I am not predicting Lamb to be a top ten WR or anything like that, but I do think he will make an impact this season and finish as a top 30ish WR, especially in PPR leagues.

He'll do great in real life, but I highly doubt he's going to be fantasy relevant outside of certain matchups. I'd say around 700 yards and 4 TDs.
Too many mouths to feed in that offense.
Gallup is going to have a big year imo.

I thought the same. I wasn’t even targeting him for that reason. They also have a good defense and are in a weak division so there will probably be a lot of games were they are chewing clock with zeke

Rookie wr's typically don't come out as very fantasy relevant their rookie year. Even good ones that go on to have great careers will only get like 700 yards. Even fewer have truly great seasons as rookies. Coming to mind are players like Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, and Julio Jones where they were at least able to break 1k yards. Even these best wr's of the last like 10-ish years I think we're only like wr2 types iirc of the top of my head, and these are more or less best case scenarios.
As an aside, Randy Moss is the only wr I know who came in as a true world beater his rookie year. He was probably the best wr in the league as a rookie. I know you don't have that expectation, but it's cool to think about how dominant he was.
To bottom line it, Lamb very well could be that kind talent, but his upside for where I've seen him go in drafts is probably a bad value.

Odell Beckham, Anquan Boldin and Kelvin Benjamin had good rookie years too. The difference in the names we've mentioned and Lamb is that those guys were one of the top options on the team (if not the #1 option). Lamb is the 4th or maybe even 5th option on his team.

Odell is another good example. He had a Randy Moss-like prolific start to his career. Again, that's a longshot thing to bet on.

This is pretty true. I usually only draft rookie receivers with expectation of maybe getting some WR3 or flex production. Have to be patient with them bc typically you are looking at an 2nd half of the year payoff as they get acclimated to the offense and build rapports with their qbs. Examples from last year: Deebo, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf. I can speak on Deebo and Brown specifically that paid off for teams in the playoffs last year.

Randall cobb went for 55/828 last year as the 3rd option in the cowboys passing game. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Lamb go for 900-1000 yards with a healthy TD total in what should be a top 5 NFL offense.

I hope you are right. I’m starting him this week. Cooper will be shutdown by the Rams secondary so Dak will have to go elsewhere with the ball Sunday. Hopefully it’s more to Lamb than Gallup
