I made one pick already, why don't you step up and take care of it.

With the 7th pick in the 2014 MSB NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Bucaneers select
Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
With the third Aggie taken in the top 7 of this year's draft, Matthews can step in and be that franchise LT the Bucs are looking for to help protect QB "X". Speaking of QB, I think the Bucs would like to see more of Glennon, enough to the point where I think they address another position with their first pick and maybe bring in one of the later round guys for competition.

With the 8th pick in the 2014 MSB NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select
Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
Is Bortles the next Ben Roethlisberger? He very well could be...
They could also go cornerback or safety here, but Bortles represents the best value at the most important position. Also consider that Norv Turner is the offensive coordinator, and he prefers big, pocket passers. And you just can't rely on Matt Cassel long term, even though he may start over Bortles at first because Blake isn't yet NFL ready.

With the 9th pick of the 2014 MSB Draft, the Buffalo Bills select:
Eric Ebron TE North Carolina
If the Bills look to bolster their offense here, they will want to find a tall, red-zone target to complement a relatively average-sized group.
After seeing potential in both Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin, a second- and third-round pick, respectively, in 2013, rounding out the offense with the dangerous Ebron fits.
ETA: They could very well pick an OT or safety in this spot, but I think Ebron is the missing piece to this offensive puzzle.

9 picks in 2 full days, it seems like we are running a true NFL mock draft
Posted on 4/3/14 at 11:00 am to KosmoCramer
Just as a frame of reference, there are threads on the first page on this board that have posts from last month, 4 days ago.
Pathetic.

Can we get this moving?? This is awful

It would take less than a week on here if it were on the proper board.
Hell the first round would probably be wrapping up today on the MSB.

Yeah, I keep bumping the other thread in hopes that people will see it and move over here. I think people just liked the idea of it and forgot about it. I wish we had a PM system here for this very reason.

This X1000. If the admins weren't egotistical a-holes and kept this on the MSB where it's supposed to be we'd probably be wrapping up the second round by today. I'm still confused, it wasn't like we were "cluttering" up the board with a new thread for every pick. It was ONE thread.

With the 10th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft presented by Tyson Chicken, KFC and Chik-Fil-A,
the Detroit Lions select...
Darqueze Dennard, 6'0, 196lbs. CB from Michigan State
The Lions need serious defensive backfield help and they feel that Denard gives them the best chance to sure that up. The like his ability to be aggressive and play one on one on an island as well as his attacking style at the line of scrimmage in run support. They need to make a statement on this side of the ball, and Darqueze can certainly make statements in pass defense, run support, and blitz packages.
