12 teams in the league, start 2 WRs. That makes 1-12 in points scored rated as WR1, then 13-24 WR2... then 25-36 WR3... Your boy Holmes is firmly entrenched at #36, thus a low 3rd tier WR
If you do the same for RBs, Pierre Thomas is your #28 RB, sitting just outside the second tier of RBs, a high 3rd tier RB.
Considering everyone is overstocked on WRs and low on RBs, I'd say you're assessments are incorrect.

I'm not a soothsayer, but I'd imagine both will get better.
Quit acting like you're trading Calvin Johnson. Holmes has finished in the top 24 once in his illustrious career. 5 seasons, 1 as a "WR2".
