We understand you have a core group of 3 studs and a good PPR RB2 in Woodhead. That's why you spent $188 of $200 on them.

But to discount QB, TE and Flex is silly. So Gronk averaging 5ppg over the next TE doesn't count?

Also, you're using last year's #s and 2013 for Woodhead. We were using ESPN projs, shitty as they may be.

i made up the exercise, so i encourage everyone to use last years stats. Most core guys situation's unchanged, it's a better gauge than espn anyway.

If you have Rodgers, Luck, or Gronk than you can put an asterik by your core projections bc you have a serious leg up at those positions compared to other teams.

Lol. Fall into 3 of your starting 7 positons???

You also need to fall into a 4th starter for nearly 1/2 the regular season.

True. No way I can do this though. I have 4 rookie RBs and my core guys situation's are completely changed.

Spiller to NO in a Sproles+ type role.
Matthews with Maclin's 144 targets gone and a QB change.
Hopkins with Andre's 146 targets gone and a QB change.

Impossible.

yeah baw

your 20 point Romo vs my 19 point cutler at QB

your 11 point travis kelce vs my 10 point jordan reed at TE

your 12 point vjax vs my 12 point marvin jones in the flex

75% of the league has similar players at those positions. And if you have a leg up at QB or TE, then chances are you are weaker in the core spots. Everyone is gon compete big dog

Yep, you can't with those guys.

Id give Matthews and Hopkins 32 combined ppg, and Id throw Spiller in the Woodhead 2013 range of 14 pgg if healthy.

Not big into side bets -- I'm poor -- or listing my teams projected. But figure my team's success comes down to two looming factors:

*Can Watkins succeed even with really bad QB play.
*Is this Eagles offense what I think it is? Every game there are WRs running free in the secondary. Can Bradford stay upright enough to hit them.

*Full confidence in Evans even with Jameis. Winston is better than what they had last year.
*CJ and Hill. Both have byes in Week 7. Hopeful only time I have to plug someone else in as my RBs

Like I said, I have a team full of hopefuls.

I think Hopkins can rival Andre's 2012/2013 numbers. 18.5/17.5ppg. I think Matthews can rival Maclin's 2014 and DeSean's 2013 numbers. 17.4/16.8. I also think Spiller can rival Sproles 2012/2013 numbers. 17.0/16.5.

Those are filling the predecessors role on the same teams with the same offenses with exception of Texans, but Hopkins should push Andre's 162/181 targets those years.

Again, with everything we assume health for all players. Otherwise, you could just roll up Woodhead's 4.1ppg last year as well.

I mean, last year their QBs put two 1k WRs out there, one with 12 TDs. For fantasy purposes they did a pretty good job.

Winston's 25/18 TD:INT ratio scares me a bit. He looked like a different QB from his freshman season. Obviously the league is rough on rookie QBs.. evans and jackson will help

Vegas has them at the 2nd lowest win total, too. A lot of playing from behind, sure, but if ya cant run the ball it could be a long season

Side bet. My QB, Flex, TE vs yours. I'll give you 16 point spread since the only difference is 1 ppg at QB.

I never said they were better. I said they would compete, which is all you can ask for when rostering 3 1st rd picks.

There is like a 5% chance that my current QB, TE, and FLEX will be the same. It would be something nice to track if you want to take the time to do it every week
