Beckett = overrated in my opinion, but still, no way Bautista finishes at even 75% of the pace he's on now. That would still be something like 80/34/91 though.

Guess I need to break it down for you figs.
First of all, AVG means shite in this league. Bautista has had a solid OPS in the past
Second of all, Bautista has over 400 ABs once in his career, yet still manages to hit 15 bombs a year. He get's 500, he will hit 30
Third, with the protection in the Jays lineup, he will see pitches to hit and have opportunities to drive in runs.
Fourth, I haven't even started Beckett much this year. Have any of you seen him pitch? He looks god awful and is on the decline, iMO.
Fifth, I have Buccholz, Wade Davis, Latos, not to mention Webb, KRod, and De La Rosa, all of whom I would keep over Beckett.
Sixth, I rolled the dice. There are players like Bautista every year who have a career year. If it works, great. If not, I lost Beckett, who isn't a big lost. No one made an offer better than Bautista, power wise.
