Don't give up yet Redd, the Cardinals are not helping themselves these days. I would like to see somebody other than the Cardinals win the pennant. My biggest worry is Dusty, he can out think himself sometimes or not think at all (Wood and Prior). I just hope he does not wear out the young arms.

I have been giving your trade proposal some thought. I appreciate the offer but think I will stand pat for right now.
My hitting actually turned the corner this week and my pitching was steady as usual.
After losing Anderson I am very hesitant to give up Johnson or Price.

I'm not giving up, but it is only May and the Reds are hot as frick right now while everyone else is kinda struggling. I'm just trying to be realistic. I still think they are a year away from really being a playoff contender.
