yea, his walks allowed him to flirt with .800 OPS in minor league ball. I'd have to see other rosters to see whats gonna be out there, sadly he's probably the best catching option. Buck does give me some power for the position, just not an everyday starter.

If you can be relevant as a playoff team in 2-3 years then to you. We keep 12 so I don' t know how you find any power other than taking flyers on prospects..or you could trade some old guy to rmc for an rising stud. Seems to work for some.

I had a good deal out to him a few weeks ago trying to get Pena from him. If he was active, Pena, Ortiz, Buck probably could've got him some decent pieces from contenders.

Just so we get this out of the way, I could care less about owning Reds players in my fantasy leagues.

I think I had offered him Dominic Brown and, separately Dexter Fowler for a couple of his closers at one point....nada.

You should keep your closers and trade them away next year at the deadline for picks/prospects.

we should talk in the offseason about having a type of an expansion draft...maybe let Barry or whomever keep 8 players or so, then let him pick 4 players out of the pool before anyone else does.

Or maybe 2 players. Something like that. That team is really bad, i think we should throw him a bone but thats just me.

I just offered him 4 players for 1....they would all be upgrades to what he has now.

What's sad is that Pena is the only guy on that team that I would even think about wanting on my team. And my team ain't that great.

But we're not expanding - he's taking over a team. He gets whoever is on that team. He shouldn't get the best available players just because tt4e was a shitty owner. it would be different if he was just getting a new team all together.

yeah i know. thats not now.

i think we all could help improve his team. A team out of the playoffs doesnt need to making deals while teams in the playoffs have sit on their hands. thats all im saying. theres a reason there is a deadline.

just doesnt make sense for Barry to jump on anything at this point

not techincally, but i think it would keep the league competitive. He's going to pay next year for being stuck with shite players he had nothing to do with aquiring.

either way. its obviously something we vote on if enough people think its fair. I dont really care either way.
