With a FAAB budget

eta: I don't know of very many legit leagues that don't use FAAB

Have to think about it.

I need to start playing Hammel regardless of matchup.

Free agent acquisition budget

You are given x amount of dollars for picking up players all season long. You set the the faab time to execute x times per week. So every set time it looks at any bids placed on a FA player and gives it to the highest bid by an owner. You can bid 0 dollars on a player in the event you run out of money or just want to pick up some one you think no one else is gonna want to pick up in the next day or two.

Example is for a 10 team mixed robertson probably wasn't owned in many leagues so when it came out rivera blew out his knee everyone in the league most likely had a day or two to enter a bid for him.

Another way to do it that i also like is that you only pay one more dollar than the 2nd highest bid so say there were bids of 27, 35, and 55 dollars then the guy who who bid 55 would pay 36 dollars for the player. Similar to bidding on ebay when you enter your max bid.

Its all relative but most leagues allow 100 to 1000 dollar faab budgets. I'd say do 1000 for a league like this where there are lots of add drops.

Its not that you aren't paying attention you still have to get in a bid in a day or two.

Fantasy baseball shouldn't be about who can get to their computer fast enough.

We all pay attention, some of us do have jobs that don't allow us to be plugged in 24/7.

not everyone can be on twitter and cbs sportsline 24/7. everyone should at least get some sort of period to absorb news and make a decision.

I just don't know why people keep saying this. Don't think I've made a pickup from my computer all year.

Free agency in baseball would be awesome if the GM that got to pujols house first could have signed him
