No I was in another wedding Saturday night.

And yeah, it was packed. We set up shop between Acura and Congo square. Got to hear both Springsteen and Al Green at the same time, depending on which way we were facing.

Saw some pics friends posted - looked miserably, shoulder to shoulder packed....was it hot/humid too?

We had our kids, so we avoided the sardine situation. It was pretty hot at times when the clouds weren't covering the sun. We brought the kids to the blues tent when it got like that. Definitely one of the more cooler fest experiences lately.

I saw the rev al green at the fest years ago - great show. My fav show at the fest all time was when Lionel Ritchie subbed in for fats domino who was ill at the first fest after K. Did all of the commodore hits and his solo hits - crowd was awesome too.
