so giraffe received 3 potential keepers (Bautista, Hart and maybe Morrow) for gyno getting just one in Beltre (IMHO)

I dont think so.

Knat is one of the few owners who actually tries to win over having pretty, young keepers. Which is why he has probably won before. Same goes for Marle and rmcc (when he was sane).

you can't even be on my roster longer than 6 months if you're under 25.

he won because my pitching tanked in the playoffs when we matchup up

it's all a crapshoot once the playoffs begin

I kept Bonafacio and Garza last season. Willingham is a keeper. Broxton and Soriano can be keepers if they have closers roles next season.

I also see Colvin as a keeper if he keeps a starting gig in COL. It's all in the eyes of the beer holder

kershaw and verlander are doing fine. my depth is sucking this season. hopefully a big 4 of verlander, kershaw, lincecum and haren will collectively have their shite together next season

i just think you cost yourself any chance of winning this season. just my opinion

By trading a power hitter with a wrist injury, a pitcher out until mid August and three waiver pickups for 2 power hitters, a speed guy, two starters and 2 closers?

Id say I did the opposite

Im not trying to defend him, but he traded 2 guys who are hurt, Colvin, a waiver wire RP, and a SP3.

Replace a hurt Joey Bats with Beltre = win

Replace a hurt Morrow with Garza/Johan = win

Replace Colvin with a top 25 player in the Hammer = win

Add 2 closers with 20+ saves when you had no one = win

Add a runs/SB machine who is eligible at soon to be 4 positions = win

I dont see how he hurt his chances in the least

I've basically punted saves, my team should still be pretty competitive.

Injuries killed me from the on start, I haven't had a chance to put together a solid run. Cwill is hands down the favorite and I would bunch my teams in with the rest of the people competing.

This is a pretty awesome trade. Rouge, I completely disagree with you on this one.

I think Knat may have pushed himself over a team or two here (just a guess, cause I don't know the whole rosters). He is adding a nice amount of pop, steals, and saves in this deal. Plus, I would think he got way more than one keeper in this deal. Beltre, Willingham, Bonifacio, maybe Garza (especially if he goes to a pitcher's park and/or has a big second half).

Gyno clearly makes some improvements for his team next year. I really like this both ways.

Which is crazy bc you had the 2nd best team coming into the season after cwill.

Your staff is pretty sick and so is your infield. If you added some decent OFs your team would be very tough to beat.
