rebuilding or getting younger at the expense of having no draft picks when your team was #1 last year?? Wtf is that about?

LE, how much have I closed the gap on Ronnie's team since last season ended?

didnt u have the top team in the regular season last year?

yeah, bc i traded all my draft picks for old aging talent like brian roberts, jorge posada, etc

i was already shorthanded with picks this year, and decided that if i had to do this i would

LE appears to know what the frick he is doing, and I value his opinion, along with several others here.

I need to get better, so I am looking to do that. Any position player for one of my players and the 17th overall.

you weren't that bad off though

your "old talent" was still productive. I mean you were in 1st place last year with these guys.

shite i had your keepers ranked in the top 3 before anyone started trading. I dont remember specifically who or what u had at this point, but it wasnt bad at all.

i really think u are trading just to trade and are overthinking everything. Thats just me

if you end up without a pick until the 8th round, you are fricked considering more than half your team comes from the draft

Out of 16 owners, you rank dead last. Not because you don't know baseball, but because you are never a straight shooter. You contradict yourself on a regular basis, in fleecing attempts. I take everything you say on the fantasy boards with a grain of salt.

oh ok, i see it.

Like I said, before everyone traded i thought Ron had a top 3 team. Then it got pretty bad. But after his last trades, on paper, it is probably somewhere in the middle. But thats not taking into account he made a stupid trade (IMO) and gave up a 1st round pick to get Kinsler when he traded a similar player like Uggla.

His top 4 hitters on paper look good. Pretty strong if Zimmerman and Lind can match the career years they had last year. There's a reason to be cautious though, of course. Kinsler was very good 2 years ago, kind of fell off a little last year. but not exactly someone i want carrying my offense.

His starters are pretty good, prob top half in the league if healthy. He said he wants to lock down saves, but with those 2 guys im not sure that is the strategy i would go for, considering there are a lot of question marks as far as the bottom 3 of his hitting keepers. I'd want to be stronger there before i kept Aardsma or Huston Street.

just the way i see it. Hopefully RM wont get butt hurt over that.

I still think your team is a little better. Ron is somewhere in the middle, id rank you a notch or 2 above.

no?

Port, you like Cantu? 3B eligible, went 20 and 100 the three years he got over 500 ABs. Only 28. Should get a lot of RBI opportunities with Coghlan and Ramirez in front of him.

My team is sorely lacking in two categories right now: SB-CS and S-BS. That's gonna hurt me if I don't find a way to address it in the draft.

lol

thats pretty ridiculous considering this past season you and i made two easy as frick trades in tdfl

and i dont contradict myself at all in fleecing attempts. with gyno, i changed my strategy after these trades went through, thus justifying why he thought i was lying

its just you thinking bc i like to trade that im always trying to fleece

plenty of other people on here know that im a straight shooter, but its just that you might value your players differently than i do, and thats to be expected. but you dont need to sit here and essentially tell me that im full of shite and am a liar and whatever else you think bro. kind of insulting to be honest

Dude, you asked me for my opinion, and I gave it. Did you want me to lie?

It doesn't mean that I think you are a piece of shite. I just don't take you seriously when you talk about the fantasy value of players, that's all.
