well thats the problem. yes, i think he is a better player, but no, at this point in time nobody is going to take that deal, which is why i wont deal him before the break unless hes involved in a package of some sort

What if he gets injured again? Or if he comes back and has lost a step? You are so confident he's going to come back and absolutely rake just like he was before his injury?

the whole Beltran situation is just weird. Not sure i would touch the guy, esp at the cost of a top player.

The only thing that Carlos Beltran will outproduce Kevin Youklis and Adam Dunn in this season is SB-CS and number of tacos eaten. And Dunn may even pass him in the taco category.

Zobrist plays 2B/SS/OF. He's waaaay more valuable than Carlos Beltran right now, IMO. Unfortunately, Zobrist needs to prove he can duplicate last year's numbers. I'm worried about him, to be honest.
And as for Carlos Quentin, he's much younger, but also needs to prove he is healthy and can be a stud again.
I think Beltran's best days are long behind him.
