Well, if you find some that have a history of being accurate, it could certainly help you place value on players.

That being said, CBS leaves a little to be desired when it comes to projections. What makes it even worse is their ranking system. I wish there was a way to change the rankings to reflect the scoring system of the league.

I feel like we can come up with better projections than any service. I wonder what makes a qualified projectionist?

And I don't get how CBS can let you use a certain scoring system for a league, yet still cannot formulate rankings to go with that system.

I just try to look at as many projections as possible. The truth is in there somewhere.

I do tend to lean towards ESPN myself.

I will be taking the starters and key reserves that are not kept, and formulating projections for all of them, and then make my own ranking system for them. This is why I need two weeks between keepers being due and the draft taking place.

What else do we have to go by? 15/16 people will find serious fault with your own projections - it's all just a guess. Could anyone have predicted Mauer to hit 30 HRs and Wright to hit 10? All projections just kinda go off the previous year(s) and cannot really account for the future - basically all projections are inherently flawed.

seeing as how they charge the most money for their services it seems, and they have a good interface for the site, it baffles me how you cant customize rankings

everyone gets caught up in the value of reyes, figgins, etc in average leagues, but between two players you have MAYBE 12 homers, and a shity ops, and no rbi

its just a gamble, and he gave away, PER HIS WORDS, a top 5 arm who is 25, for a light hitting ss coming off an injury

lester, ill do the first round pick i think if you are interested in the trade i offered you
