Giles vs Rondon I guess could be personal preference. I'd prefer Giles but I guess he hasn't been actually named closer yet.
The Alvarez trade was awful but I believe part of a draft pick trade. Thomas traded up and Tubby basically gave him the pick for nothing.

Alvarez trade was a draft pick trade. We just picked each other's players because we didn't want to cause a commotion. Swapped 8ths and I gave a 11th rd pick for a 12th rd pick.
Giles/Rondon- I feel they are pretty even, but Giles has more upside I guess but is riskier. I just wanted to be a homer and have Giles.

I prefer the Cubs saves chances with all that offense to the unknown of Giles.....he can throw 100 mph, but we'll see if he even gets the job past April....I traded that pick in the 8th before realizing Pedro signed with a team...same day it happened
