: Pistons forward Greg Monroe notched the sixth double-double of his young career in Friday's 92-82 win over the Nets. Monroe scored a career-high 20 points and added 11 rebounds, in route to helping Detroit snap a four-game losing streak. The rookie-forward shot an impressive 10 of 14 from the field in the contest, although he did miss all five of his free-throw attempts. "My teammates find me and that's basically it," Monroe said. "I'm just trying to get myself into position to get easy baskets and they're making great passes." Monroe logged a season-high 42 minutes in the contest and also added two blocks and a pair of assists to his statline.

Aaron Brooks suspended one game by Rockets
Aaron Brooks has been suspended for Monday's game against the Nuggets for walking off the court early on Saturday night.
Brooks has been disgruntled by his reserve role for the last couple months and it came to a head Saturday night. When coach Rick Adelman brought the starters back for the guts of the game, Brooks just walked to the locker room. Even though Brooks got "pipped" by Kyle Lowry and he's in a contract year, abandoning your team is no way to turn things around. Brooks will need an injury to Lowry or Kevin Martin to get reliable minutes again. He could also become a trade candidate as the deadline approaches.
