Yes, nothing we can do if his opponent doesn't catch it the same day. Can not got back and remove players from his lineup once the day has passed.

The rule is that if you go over 45, you lose stats for that day...but someone has to catch it. When it's caught, a commish goes in and removes all players from the lineup which takes away stats. The thing is, it has to be done the same day because there is no way to change a lineup from a prior day.
In None's case he went over on a Saturday and nobody noticed. ESPN froze his lineup Sunday since he was passed 45. I have seen people hit 45 before Sunday but have never seen anyone go over.
In a perfect world ESPN would make it so that you couldn't go past 45, but they don't unless you're right at 45 after Saturday's games.

This has been the worst I have had with injuries to start a season. I had Kawhi first who has yet to play. Then traded him for Kyrie who missed a few.
Currently
Jokic out at least a few games
Hardaway Jr - out at least 2 weeks
IT2 - out all year so far
Beverly- out for the season
WCS- out at least a few games
Rose - goes without saying
