Yes, late at night after all games are played that day, it will not show updated games added to to the total number for the week.
You always have to go to Scoreboard > matchup > total, to get the correct total.

It'll keep count as the games play if you have it on the "today" tab, but once you change to it check on a different day it'll go back to what you have before the games today started.
For example, mine has 41 with the games playing if im on the today tab, switch to any other day it goes back to 39. Other than the total tab.

I would think the GP should automatically update whenever a player gets into the game regardless of what time it is.

to get a definitive, accurate count on your games played, just always go to Scoreboard > Full Box Score > (Matchup Scoreboard) Total

It usually updates as the games go on. , but the totals werent reflected when I checked after all the games last night. That was the issue

Also, if you see a gp for someone that actually didn't play, watch that. Josh Richardson today, for example.
