That's the part you don't get. What if someone claimed Kobe with the same intentions? How would we settle it?

It's stupid.

Did that happen? There's a new rule NOW that changes that right? Sounds like the problem was fixed. BUT not when it happened. Again, it's a rule change AFTER clearance was given.

I alerted you, made the claim, AND told the league before any discussion was had. No one else made a claim or posted it on the board. If they did, then yes, we would be arguing about that too, BUT it didn't.

Thom, you dictated when Allonzo Trier would be available for bid, won the bid, then informed the rest of the league Trier was available for bid

Wasn't that the rule in place? If a player wasn't in the pool, then you made a claim for a filler player?

What if they were just dutifully waiting for him to be added so they could bid in a fair, open process? Frankly, I don’t see how you can make your argument with a straight face. It’s so obviously in contradiction with the current FAAB process.

Because that was the rule that was set forth.

One aspect of the rules changed. Get it?

Waiver Priority vs FAAB.

In waiver priority, if two people wanted someone not in the player pool, then it get awarded to the highest waiver priority.

In FAAB, if two people wanted someone not in the player pool, then it get awarded to the highest bidder.

Never in our rules change did we outline a new process for players not in the pool. Would the rules not have worked the same if it were waiver priority?

The most overlooked part of this whole argument is that None spent 40% of his waiver budget on the starting SG for the Westchester Knicks
