I did bid on him when I picked up Elton Brand as his placeholder, which was the rule at that moment.

I think Trier should go Thomas. I understand what both sides are saying, but we never voted. Tom played within the rules that were implemented at the time.
Just my $0.02
But it’s Allonzo Trier, who really gives a frick. Let’s just get a set plan in place for future adds.

Then we had some back and forth discussion between Port, Matt, and I. A comment or two from frat and MWG. I think everyone is in agreeance that a change should happen for Port's sake, but you can't just go backsies on something that was already in place.

The rules changed when we went to FAAB. At least that's how I look at it. We never voted on the "rule" to allow you to add someone who wasn't in the pool, did we? It was an unwritten rule, which is why I brought this up last week.
Plus, I cannot give None his $$ back.

Player's not in ESPN's available player system must have to be added by ESPN and bid on by league owners through the standard FAAB processing before being added to any respective team.

You can make zero dollar bids, but you cannot just pick someone up now. They all get processed through the WW.

Tom is taking this personal - I would be saying the same thing no matter who it is. I am trying to think on what makes most sense for the league, Tom is thinking about his team only.
It doesn't matter that he added Brand because it cost him nothing and Trier wasn't in the pool or claimed when we talked about this last week.

I don't know why this statement continues to be made. I have said countless times that there should be a change, BUT we have to do this correct way and just not make a ruling on some general discussion.

What is the difference from when I added him for Marshon Brooks two weeks before? Because quitter arse 21 brought it up in the other league, that's why.

I know that. Maybe you should have emailed port with a dollar amount you wanted to bid on Trier so none knew what your bid was.

Tom did notify me, just not with an amount. But that's the problem - that undercuts my ability to bid on the guy. It just makes more sense to bid on the correct player when he hits the pool. If Tom would have taken him in the draft this would be a different conversation.

I think this is similar to Ariza and Winslow thing. Only a few owners saw when they hit the pool and bid top dollar for them.
