That's even worse than what I am suggesting.

Already addressed this weak as argument. This isn't the NFL, we have the power to very easily decide how we award the "best team." My system is better than anything else that has been brought up so far.

Sounds like you frickers are scared of the waters you just jumped in

You must have went 0-2 in the playoffs to get fourth place (perhaps you would Have even went 0-3 if you didn’t have the bye), which means you only won 11 games. Voodoo would have finished with 10 wins had his playoff wins counted. Are you arguing that one more win deserves a huge difference in payouts?

Again I’m with ATL.

SoItGoes and cajunsaints are both solid owners ATL, he’s in the dynasty league with us.

But SIG try to get away from the “that’s just the way it’s always been” mindset.

People who felt that way about PPR, Top 6 vs H2H, or snake vs Auction usually change their mind the second they try the new approach.

I do still think a 700/300/200 payout could be a nice compromise.

I think 50 for 3rd is silly and pointless, as is 20 for weekly scores.

Who cares about 50 or 20 or whatever at the end of a season.

Should be three big prizes with everyone else looking to next year imo.

And I do want to add that even though I was 7-6 my team was solid ATL. Cook and someone else had some missed weeks and I always felt if I could get into the playoffs and get my guys back I could make a run.

Just had to defend my squad

It keeps the amount awarded for high points at ~10% of the total pot, which is what everyone seems comfortable with except you.

I would have gone 13-3 under the t6b6 system we have in place. I can sit here and destroy you weak arse fricking arguments all day.

Again, you new guys are fighting this just to fight it. Stay in your lane.

VooDoo, again, appreciate you seeing logic here. But $200 is still skewed more towards that luck factor that you were the beneficiary of last year.

You know that $300 to my team last year would have been more than fair.

Having $50 for 3rd gives even more balance to a scenario like last year.

Not sure how many times I need to say this but I will.

Playoffs
1st- $600
2nd- $250
3rd- $50

Points Race
1st- $300

It's fair. It will work. Let's try it.

I have played in many leagues which awards more than 10% to teams other than top playoff teams and really don’t care for that type of payout. Sincerely

1st 750
2nd 200
3rd 100

Most points 150

This is fair. Let's try it

The 7-6 team still has way too much edge vs the 11-2 by only awarding $150 for points leader.

Playoffs
1st- $600
2nd- $250
3rd- $50

Points Race
1st- $300

$50 profit for going 13-3 and more points than any other team is total bs. $300 is much more balance on the luck and performance scale.

I'm screaming so loud because I know this is best.

I'm asking yall to trust me. And try this for one year.

The new guys are fighting this just to fight. I've been in this league since the beginning. I've played in a league with a similar payout structure. People love it. It's fair. It works.

$150 for points is not enough. That sounds crazy to these guys because they've never done anything different.

The last two year have produced winners that were 8-5 and 7-6 in the regular season. A change is needed.

You can even win more total money in my scenario. $900 How the frick are we even arguing this?!

I would rather remove the third place payout, but I support your compromise cajun and DJ.

Also how is it fair if you finish 5-10 points behind the person with most points?
$300 is way too much for most points

I won't drop it. Awarding only $50 profit to the clear cut best team of the year as in last year's scenario simply isn't enough.

If you are the ultimate best team and get some luck then you take home $900.

If you had taken the time to read all of my posts I first suggested splitting the pot 50/50

$600 for Playoffs
1st- $350
2nd- $200
3rd- $50

$600 of Points Race
1st- $350
2nd- $200
3rd- $50

quote:

$300 is way too much for most points

You keep saying this over and over like a brainless buffoon without actually supporting your argument other than trying to tie it to the NFL. You're not a very bright one are you?

ATL actually had the best luck last year, significantly helping the total wins. The weekly points scored against ATL were 115, 13 weekly points lower than the average and more than that from the median. I don’t understand your logic when you rode the good luck train all of the regular season to wins.

That would be a really strong point under a h2h system. However, points against is meaningless in T6B6. This is all about scoring as many points as possible each and every week.

I won't bend unless someone can actually show me how I'm wrong.

Open to compromise. But you need to back it up. Don't bring weak shite arguments like "that's way too much."
