The league isn't even filled yet and we have not set a draft date 
Funny that you call out my "ignorance" when I was clearly the only person capable of actually backing up my side of the argument with facts.
All anyone else ever said was "that's too much" and tried to pretend this is the NFL
Funny how it's so much easier to just go along with the status quo. Try and make a change to help everyone and increase the top prize and everyone just lashes out because they are so damn scared to try something different.
Whatever. Collect the votes. This is a democracy. I'll go with whatever wins. No hard feelings.

ATL is too hyped about this but he’s not alone, I agree total points should get compensated.
I also think 3rd place is way more of a “participation trophy” than total points.
Let’s just put up the vote instead of continuing this debate that has gotten way out of hand imo.
I’ve already said this but usually when a change is met with resistance in fantasy people end up liking it if implemented.
I personally vote for eliminating third place I favor of high scorer.
The payouts can be 100 200 or 300 but I feel like 200 is a good middle ground.
Let’s just get this draft going baws, arguing over payouts is silly imo
ETA: If this was on Sleeper the poll feature would already have this settled lol

My vote is to maintain the status quo, which is the rules accepted when everyone paid their league dues.

Pumped that you joined the league SIG, but I don’t see any payout info posted on the OP, and I certainly didn’t consider that when joining this or any other league.
Several people paid before DJ posted the payout structure, and, just like in the other leagues we drafted together and any other league, rules are always brought up and discussed once the league is formed.
We aren’t locked into anything, and since ATL, who is a long time member in good standing with the league, feels strongly about it, I think it certainly warrants a vote.
ETA: In fact this was cajunsaints suggestion on page 3 when this came up, after he had already joined, followed by yours when ATL brought it up and DJ said we’d have to discuss it among the league:

Issue is, we picked an early date last year and got to the day of the draft and still only had 11 people. Luckily, we got someone the day of. Would rather not risk that this year. But I am shooting for the 19th if we can get that spot filled this week.

I'd possibly be interested in joining if draft is on the 19th and once the payouts are decided. I'll check this thread again this afternoon to see how everything shakes out.
