I'm really surprised and disappointed in the league that no trades went down. There are players on benches that could have been leveraged into making a better team, and "starters" that could be watered down into 2 very good players

It's over now, so I have nothing to gain by saying this, and it's just my opinion.

Gumbo Pot and I tried to make a trade, but he couldn't accept before the 11AM deadline. He thought the deadline was 12PM CST, not EST.

Ugh. Would have been a good trade for both of us too.

Congrats Cubbs on the win, you are still in the hunt, and I for one will be rooting for you.

The rest of you inbred sacks, kneel before the Mighty Kash!

Do you think I still have an outside chance of making the playoff?

Yes, but it's a very remote possibility. It's mathematically possible, but improbable. You'll need to win next week and have both Bonds and EZ lose. The problem is they play each other, so one of them will win.

Since the tie-breaker for wins/losses is points scored, the point difference you would have to make up.....strains credulity.

The point total thing can still bite me in the arse too. I could still lose the first round bye to the Haters if I lose, he wins, AND he outscores me by 57 points or more (something he did this week). Having Peterson injured and my best QB injured, will make it tough for me to hang on.

Did not realize this. Either way, I think I'll eventually play you on our side of the playoff bracket.

Would LOVE to get a bye for Arian Foster VS Ravens. That would be helpful.

not really, she just:

1. needs a win vs CFBR(2-10)
2. Trola(6-6) to lose vs GP(5-7)
3. EZE vs BBonds (either EZE Loss, or BB loss if he scores 6 points less than Cubbs.

but the only thing she can do is try to beat CFBR, the others are beyond her control. Just the Trola game is the biggest game for her.

Dear CFB:

I know things have been strained between us lately. I hope you're not letting the words of a playful and naive 25 year old girl harden your kind heart. I would hate for you to to ruin my shot at the playoffs out of spite.

love always,

your dear friend cubbies

They didn't, CFB was just in a mood that day. And I think the grumpiness of the older men on the p board rubs off on me sometimes, so I had a sharp tongue (sharp fingers?) back. No hard feelings, though
