Alright - changed it yet again - I made the regular season 13 weeks long (so we get a round robin, no double opponents), and 3 weeks of playoff, with week 17 of the season not being used. Considering that this week is always a tossup with several teams resting their starters, I think we'd be wise to avoid it. Especially for the championship matchup in our league.

You're a damn strong league administrator.

Good idea. I like the new format. Still no objections to the draft time, so that great.

I'm basically piggybacking off of the commissioner in my other league, but thanks!

I couldn't even get into the thing last night cubs, too much of that shake and bake stuff, this morning I got right in, go figure. Well even if I don't win, I have to beat Tigerpride10, If I can't do that then I will know I've been disgraced.

I'm confident in my ability to take the league. Plus, shite talking is my favorite sport, so I'm ready for the games to begin.

Anyone ever set up a league before? I can't seem to figure out how to set up a consolation 3rd place game in the playoffs....I thought this would be fun so that there would be 2 matchups in the final week that would be worth some $$.

If I can't figure it out, we'll have to eliminate 3rd place, and go with a $450/250 payout or something.

Also, has anyone heard from Beans? Maybe she didn't know this was a $$ league or something??

I would have thought you could, but I've never been in a league that had a 3rd place game.

The smaller prize could always be for most (or least ) points scored during the regular season. One person may win both parts, but with 14 teams... maybe not.

We should definitely have a prize for least points scored. I'd feel like I had a fair shot at winning something if we did.

Well, even though the bracket doesn't show it - espn fantasy rules is telling me that it will set up a consolation game automatically (I think so at least, haven't had coffee yet this morning )

We'll just say something like $70 to 3rd place (if the game happens), and if not, we'll agree on how else to distribute it. I'm fine with most points.

OK, it should have just emailed her again. Tell her to make sure and check her spam too. If this still doesn't work, ask her to create a new email account or something.

While I think this could be amusing - you'd wind up with people dropping their entire team once it's clear they wouldn't make the playoffs
