You can do it on the site and then "manually set by league manager"

If everyone is agreeable, you could use fantasy pros random draft order generator and it will email a copy of the order to the commish. then you could post the email (blacking out your email address if you want) with the results.

His last post made it seem like he didn't know how to do it on ESPN (because you can't). Now that we have told him we are ok with him doing a random generator and entering the draft order manually, I don't know where he stands.

That’s only true if you don’t have disruptions in your life. I personally don’t have that luxury.
Why is it a big deal to just enter the draft order manually if that’s what the majority want?

I can do it if you want me to commish and it does not sound like we would have any objections from anyone. I can put everyone's team name in just how you have them listed and then let fantasy pros do the order. I will then get an email and i can post the email. You can then manually enter the order in the ESPN app.
Just let me know if you want me to do it.
