i'm trying to do something that isn't going to completely kill my pitching

trading lince without getting a pitcher in return would do that.

ok well what do you propose, the whole point of me trading for lince would be to have a nice 1-2-3 in lince, carp, and wandy. i would like to not have to move those.

nottrying to blow smoke up your arse, but you need some power bro

i think i have enough power to be honest. i would rather keep lince and roll with my offense than trade him and have 0 shot of winning any pitching cats.

no, you dont, we added up your projected numbers last night, you are projected to barely break 200 bombs, im sitting at like 280

on the sortable team page you are 11th in homers and dead in the middle in ops. not good imo

oh, and also, this trade helps me absolutely ZERO, bc im trying to add a pitcher. i lose out in both the outfield and first baseman swaps, and i gain in pitching, but i dont add a pitcher.

in the same breath, he is giving away a big time arm, he more than likely needs one back

its hard to trade a bat for a pitcher unless you have an over abundance

you think granderson > bay???

you have put a ton of stock into projections, so tell me where you are getting this.

Chowds, I hate to break it to you bro, but batters have more value in this league than pitchers.

Isn't this a 5X5 league? Are the hitting stats weighted more?

problem is he wants eithe rcarpenter or wandy, i dont want to move them

i have edwin jackson, dempster, or harden available. obviously its a downgrade for him there, but i would also be taking a MAJOR downgrade in the batting area if we could get something done

You tell me?

Why were only 2 of the first 33 picks Pitchers?

Hitter play everyday.

SP only contribute in 4 cats.

RP only contribute in 4 cats.

Yes, Hitters are weighted more.

i think weighted is the wrong word. Nothing is weighted

the way u explained it to the newb could cause him to panic and he has no reason to panic looking at his team IMO

He was panicking prior to that post.

He was offering me Lowe and Maholm and I was just explaining to him that no one wants those guys. He isnt going to get shite for them.
