Williams is still there. That’s a split backfield. Give me the deep threat/only receiver on the roster with a QB that wants to bomb it down the field.

LSU fans. Listen to me. Take off the glasses when you draft. If CEH falls to you, take him. Don’t reach. He is entering a passing offense in a RBBC. Let your dumbass buddies pick him in the 3rd round.

So how many carries do you think CEH gets next year?

Go ahead and draft him early. Damien Williams will be the starter in week 1. They like Darwin Thompson. Reach away. He’ll go in the third in my LSU homer league and the 7th in my other league

Damien Williams’ 2020 option was dirt cheap, the chiefs had to pick it up. He’s only there through this year making backup money.

Kareem Hunt led the NFL in rushing as a rookie. It’s not like they’re shy about giving one the ball.

CEH can be an RB1 with something like 225 touches considering his work in the pass game

I still think Swift is the best running back in the draft

I gotta see his landing spot first before I declare Clyde over him. Obviously Clyde landed in the perfect spot but I think Swift does a lot of the same things Clyde does and is a little faster/quicker.

Obviously not first year but as time progresses I really like Jeudy on the Broncos with the threat of Sutton, Lock, and Gordon.

7th round?

Darwin Thompson????

Come on man. They didn't draft him so they could give Darwin Thompson a bigger role than last year. Even a 65/35 split with Damien makes Clyde incredibly valuable.

Listen to me. You are dumb. Take off your anti-LSU glasses. Clyde is an absolute perfect fit for this offense. He’s everything that Damien Williams is plus good running ability between the tackles. Clyde will be a 3 down back in this offense and he will put up big numbers. Look at the games that Damien Williams has been healthy for and utilized as a 3 down back. He’s had some dominant fantasy games despite being very limited in the rushing aspect of the game. Now realize Clyde is better than Damien receiving the ball, and will quickly become as good at picking up blitzes, and Clyde is far superior as a rusher

I was a huge Damien Williams guy this last season before and even during the season. But Clyde is everything he is and more. Clyde is gonna take over that offense immediately and put up a better season than Josh Jacobs did last year in PPR and 0.5 PPR

Clyde lands in the best possible situation for him.

You can make an argument that he is the best receiving back to enter the league since CMC in 2017. (65 targets and 55 grabs in 2019)

LSU lined him up 26% of the time out wide, KC is gonna do the same thing. This is a toy for Andy who is already comparing Clyde to a better Westbrook. He could catch 75 balls year 1 in this offense.

Clyde just caught 55 balls in an offense that had two first round WRs on it.

quote:

Because defenses were so afraid of Burrow and their weapons out wide, Edwards-Helaire only faced 8 or more defenders in the box on 6% of his carries. That was the second-lowest rate in the class behind Cam Akers (5%). Edwards-Helaire is a highly creative and elusive runner -- he led the class in missed tackles forced per carry (0.42) -- but there is no doubt that he benefited from his surrounding talent and good coaching on the ground.

this is the same exact scenario for Clyde.

I know Damien Williams looked good in the Super Bowl but this pick tips KCs hand that they are ready for new blood here.

Considering the draft Capital, the fact that Mahommes and Reid are already gushing over him, Clyde is a third rounder in PPR as of now on my board.

I fell this way if Im an Ole Miss fan, Baylor fan, Florida fan whatever.

Clyde will make an immediate impact season 1 in this offense.

I do not believe this is a committee and Clyde will be sprinkled in.

Im not sure you could have a better situation fantasy wise for a RB than Clyde in KC.

Sky is literally the limit here.

if they leave him on the field he could catch 80 balls season 1 in this system.

Andy Reid and Brett Veach said they texted Mahomes asking who he wanted at 1.32 and he said CEH

Welp. Shitty landing spot for Swift.

I don't think it is too bad in the long run. Will obviously be splitting work in year 1. But lets face it, Kerryon is injury prone.
