There was a ton of hype last week on Rondale Moore after his week 1 performance. Week 1, his first game in the NFL, Moore received 5 targets and turned that into 4/68/0. This week he had 8 targets and turned that into 7/114/1.

He's only 5'7" 180lbs but ran a 4.32, a vertical of 42", had 25 reps on the bench and squats over 600lbs. This kid is electric and is receiving Tyreek comparisions. Yeah, he had a 77yd td due to busted coverage and he doesn't have the best snap % right now but look at what happens when he's on the field. Arizona designs plays for this kid. He almost had another TD Sunday with a designed sweep inside the 5. They're going to use him.. a lot. If he can get 7-10 touches a game I feel confident in gambling that he breaks at least one of those.

Also, Kyler really likes him:

Kyler Murray sent film of Purdue receiver Rondale Moore to Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim as teams were preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft.

How’s that for a hint from the team’s quarterback. It worked.

On Friday night, Arizona selected the dynamic Moore with the 49th overall pick (second round) and added another speedy and talented piece to the Cardinals’ high-powered offense.

“(Murray) said that he loved the way he played the game,” Keim said in an interview with azcadinals.com.

ETA this stat I came across

quote:

Rondale Moore is averaging 14.3 yards after catch per reception this season. 4.8 yards more than any other NFL player

Week1 receptions

Week 2 Those jukes he pulled off during that play at 1min26secs are nasty

Possible but I don’t see him beating one of the QBs for OROY

ETA I assume you mean NFL OROY and not fantasy

Yeah, the OROY for the NFL which will translate handsomely to Fantasy. I luckily took the chance on him last week but he'll be a top add this week. I think he's worth it though.

I mean…he was still 4th in snaps yesterday. They’ll get him the ball but it’s going to be hard for him to put up consistent numbers because of that. He’s not going to be that efficient with all of his touches every game

Week 1 - 29% snap rate (20 snaps) - with 5 targets which shows while his snap count was low week 1, they used him when he was on the field.

Week 2 - 46% snap rate w/ 8 targets.

It's all about the trend. He's a rookie so he's not going to get a ton of snaps out of the gate. Despite having lower snap counts, he leads the team in receptions and targets (1 more than Nuk.) He also leads the team in rec yards and first downs.

Going to be a tough call week to week with Kirk and AJ Green also in the mix. Neat young player though. There will be certain CB matchups where it’ll be easier to get him in there

Murray also threw 36 times and competed 81% of them this week for 400 yards. Can’t get too high off that, it’ll be tough to duplicate

Yeah, he’s dynamic and the coaches see his potentials. When that happens it’s more like than not he will get more playing time.

Rondale Moore is the current WR17 in PPR scoring systems. He's played only 48 snaps. No other WR in the top 20 has played fewer than 95!

I'm flexing him this weekend. He'll be a fun guy to root for
