Ocho Cinco
Stephen Jackson

Steve Smith-NYG
Jonathan Stewart

Smith has looked good thus far, but still... It's a trade where one team gives up a 1st and 3rd round pick for a Waiver Wire pickup and a guy drafted in the 10th round. I just don't see how this benefits the team giving up Ocho and SJax. Looks like collusion to me. What say you?

Steve Smith is the highest point scorer out of the 4 right now, no? What has Stewart been doing? I haven't kept up with him?

IMO you shouldnt be so god damn sensitive to trades. people need to back off and let trades happen unless its a deliberate effort to cheat (i.e. the person is missing playoffs and trying to help the other guy). if both teams want this, why would you stop it? just because you dont agree with their way of thinking?

Yes and the points are close.

Dick

The guy's basically giving up 2 20 point averages for 1 20 point average who had 1 huge week. Atleast that's how they've scored in our league.

I know you have SS in another league, but look at what he's giving up to get him. 2 starters for 1, and the 1 could seriously take a nosedive considering his QB is hurt.

No because the rest of the league is up in arms about it. I've NEVER vetoed a trade in 7 years of being commish. This one smells of collusion though.

ok well for anyone to make a REAL judgement, we would need both the teams rosters to see how fair/unfair it is

Wish I could show you. At work right now and it doesn't allow any FF sites. I'll post the rosters tomorrow.

The draft positions are irrelevant. All that matters is production. That trade is close enough.

i agree with this, it's really only up tp the people involved. If they are willing to do it and it's not collusion then i see no reason that you can veto it. You can't veto a trade based on it giving another team and advantage over the rest of the league unless there is collusion.
Also you mentioned in your first post the draft position, but that makes no difference where anyone is drafted once the season starts.
