Drake:
Jets defense as always will be good
Top heavy team that has some intriging depth pieces
quote:
QB:
I really expect big Ben to put up a huge season with the talent he has around him(Brown/Wheaton/Green/Bell etc) but you have to remember he's injury prone and should have a Rolodex of fill ins. The experts commonly have him in the 5th-6th range overall for QBs and that's about right.
quote:
RB:
Zeke Eliott has a shite ton of hype behind him due to his draft status/cowboys line and his talent overall(saw what he did to the seachickens?). Honestly seeing a rookie RB getting top 5 love was a bit hard to swallow but he has the perfect storm to prove guys right. The cowboys line has allowed an average of 4.5 ypc to some eh RBs while demarco was out/gone and Elliott is the most talented back yet due to his whole package. Something like gurleys rookie year should be a baseline.
Hyde and Mathews are both talented RBs with RB1 upside that are in pretty similar situtaions(injury prone with new OCs). Hyde will star in what should be a run offense that goes through him(akin to Gurley) that volume alone gives him upside in a scheme that's kind to RBs. He's not much of a pass catcher but that's OK. I'm higher on Mathews this season than most years because I think pederson will do well for him and the eagles offense has some good upside. Both are quality RB2s but you should be a bit cautious.
Langford should have a solid but unspectacular year has the main back in a john fox offense. He doesn't have much behind him and they have a nice receiving core. He himself doesn't make guys miss and is a typical bruiser(3.5 Ypc) that's a poor receiver and mediocre blocker. I think he's a lesser Hyde but that's fine for a 4th RB for sure.
Spiller I think has sleeper potential for a few reasons: his game has always been ppr friendly and he has looked much better this summer. Ingram has had injury issues and the RBs behind him are talented but don't quite fit spillers own role(lasco will in the future) Ingram is still the man and the oline has issues but spiller has some things to like.
quote:
WR:
Is this the year Watkins truly becomes elite? I definitely believe so as an uber talented WR in a pretty good offense with an emerging talented QB that's not afraid to go to him. Last year could have been the year but he struggled to start(kinda like cooks) but found his stride and took off(90 yards and a TD average from there on). I love sammy this year.
Marshall is as tried and true as it gets. I think he declines very slightly but should still be a WR1.
Torrey Smith was undervalued this summer IMO. He had nearly 700 yards and 6 TDs last year on a poor passing team. Chip kellys scheme has worked for guys with his skill set and I could definitely see 800 yards and 7-8 TDs with is a quality WR3.
Sharpe has had a really good camp and will have plenty of opportunity in an average WR group in TEN. Good size/speed combo that will get better as the year goes on.
Rishard Matthews had an underrated year last year and will be another security blanket for mariota. He has WR3 upside but is just kind of average(but good depth)
Garcon is very reliable and produce quality numbers for his draft position(kinda surprised he went that late). He has josh doctson on his tail but should provide good numbers all year.
Zach Miller has low end te1 upside(think a bit below what martellus did there) andjohn fox like his TEs. Miller doesn't have the most reliable history but its a good gamble that late.
Jets defense as always will be good
Top heavy team that has some intriging depth pieces

K doing yours now
ETA:
Chiefs D had some injuries but they're pretty loaded.
Great RB group when bell comes back, top QB and the top TE duo but boom or bust kinda receivers.
ETA:

QB:
Oh scam
I'll give credit where credit is due he had a fantastic season season that was an incredible value given he was mostly a mid rounder. He did it with mostly a crapshoot of WRs but gets Benjamin back this season and an improving funchess. I think he regresses a bit but since you kept him at such a value(11th?) It won't hurt your bottom line like the guys who got him in the second()
RB:
Man if only bell woulda stayed healthy for meI believe he'll easily be a top fantasy back but he has some risk coming off a big injury and suspension.
Anderson will be a solid RB2 because he's the best RB on a kubiak offense(that history speaks for itself) I like his backup booker but don't see him as a threat this year. He'll be a passable "pseudo" RB1 until bell comes back.
Jennings is injury prone but was has been a rb2/3 guy when healthy and always a threat for a big week. The giants finally wised up and gave him full control of the backfield with a bit of vereen sprinkled in(ditched that dumb 4 rb bullshite.) I think he's a 1200 yard from scrimmage and 8 TD type of player this year and that's strong in the 7th.
Both Buck Allen and Morris are an injury away from being every week RB2s. I think morris will carve out some standalone value(he had a preeety decent year last year besides TDs) and plays behind dallas oline. Both are good depth backs.
quote:
WR:
I like Jordan Mathews chances at a 3rd year breakthrough tbh. He finished such potential the last position of the season. The eagles with use some more 2 TE sets but that shouldn't really hurt Mathews and moving him around could open big plays. He also has a soft opening schedule.
Digfs was a big surprise as and should put up WR3 numbers easily. The problem is the vikings never throw which could or couldn't improved based on what QB they bring in. The makes the most out of things and has upside.
Hurns is about a reliable WR2/3 borderline guy as you'll find. His TDs will come a bit due to it not being probable the jags score 90% of their TDs throw the air again. Considering you got him in the 9th round and his talent(plus the stack offense around him) you'll be quite pleased.
I feel better about Corey Coleman with RG3. He's played with WRs like desean Jackson who are similar and RG3 won't be afraid to go his way. The browns are going nowhere and will have Coleman out there a ton(they'll be playing from behind a lot anyway) I'd be please with 75-80% of amari coopers numbers last year.
Fuller can burn and has potential surprising value(akib to diggs last year) the talent is there but there's a lot of young talent in that WR corps(Hop/Strong/Braxton etc) and he struggles with drops. Just be patient.
TE: Love the Walker/Reed combo a lot. Both are TE1s and it wouldn't shock me if both are top 5. The great thing about walker is that it gives you an insurance policy in case reed goes down again.

I'll wait all night idgaf lets do this

Alright fine
TN09:
QBs/WRs and top 2 RBs are all very solid and this team should do very well.
TN09:
quote:
QBs:
Rivers/Carr should be a really good QB duo and you got both at great values IMO. Both have talented playmakers(Cooper/Crabtree/Murray/Wolford)(Allen/Benjamin/Woodhead/Gates) to take advantage of and I really like them.
quote:
RBs:
Shady got off to a rough start but looked like himself the rest of the way. He's in a run heavy Rex ryan/Greg roman offense with unproven or mediocre options behind him,he'll have all he can handle and a good pass game with tyrod around. He's also in great shape and could come near his 2013 philly year if things break right.
I also really like Jeremy hill(considered him) in a Bengals offense that likes to control the ball(I believe they'll rely a bit more on the run game this season). He's got gio behind him bit I'm not that concerned and he looks like he's got the mojo back,I could see 1000 yards and 8-10 TDs.
Sproles isn't flashy but a safe 10-12 points a week playing a role he excels in. He'll be even better if mathews(not a picture of health) goes down and the QBs will rely on him.
Starks is a low end flex guy behind fat Eddie and a low and end rb2 if he gets sick from eating Popeye's.
quote:
WR:
Mike Evans should at least double(if not triple) the 3 TDs he had last year. He's going to get targeted a ton again as crab legs fav and will feast. I can definitely buy a top 7 finish for him.
I believe Allen Robinson will slightly regress on the TD totals as I've said on other jags players that its not feasible they get 88% of their scores in the air. Im thinking 1500 yards and 8-10 TDs,he's an absolute monster.
Love Baldwin as a WR3 he's not going to get 14 TDs but 1000 yards and 8-10 is very safe to pencil in.
I think you did very well getting Shepard at 86. He has next to no competition and someone has to catch the balls obj doesn't get. I don't think he has a huge upside but something like what stephon diggs did last year is well with reach. Loved him at OU
Gates will likely have 1 more top ten season left before the torch is passed to hunter henry. Rivers has Allen/Benjamin and woodhead but gates will get red zone opportunity and will capitalize as usual. I'd be cautious of injury though.
Graham is a wild card
If he's anywhere close to his Nola days and fits in Seattle you'll have one of the bigger steals of the draft. He's coming off a really bad injury and was declining a bit before then and he's not the most popular guy in SEA(they won most of their games without him). He's a gamble but a worthy one.
Bengals lost a couple of guys but are very deep and are an auto start.
QBs/WRs and top 2 RBs are all very solid and this team should do very well.
