Need some advice... PPR league.
I was offered this big trade but can't decide if it will benefit me:
My team:
Qb-Wilson
RB- Forte, Gio
WR- Antonio Brown, Crabtree, Garcon
TE- Walker
Flex-Brandin Cooks
Bench
Pierre Thomas, Gerhart, Hyde
Justin Hunter, Josh Gordon
Kaepernick
I would give up:
Gio, Garcon, Crabtree, Pierre Thomas, Cooks
I would get:
Calvin Johnson, Ellington, larry Fitz, Wheaton
I would hurt for the next 3 weeks, but my new lineup would be:
QB-Wilson
RB- Forte, Ellington
WR- Brown, Calvin, Larry Fitz
TE- Walker
Flex- Hunter or Wheaton
Bench:
Wheaton, Josh Gordon (Will end up being my flex)
RB- Gerhart :yak: but can pick up Crowell, Antonio Smith, Brandon Bolden, Benny Cunningham
Overall, I think my team will be unbeatable when Calvin returns, but I lose a good bit of depth. I don't see Ellington as that much of a downgrade, if any at all, to Gio. Thoughts?

that's a tough one. it only works if calvin comes back and does calvin type things. fitz and wheaton don't do anything for you and I like gio a little bit more than ellington. what's your record can you afford to wait and hope for mega?

I'm 3-3...highest scorer in the league but also have the most points scored against me. If I was 5-1 or 4-2, I'd do it in a heartbeat because I could afford to wait for Calvin to come back. I would hate to screw up a good performing team by making this trade. I should be in the top 2 of the league, but I can't help the matchups

I got him to throw in Hillman...Hillman can hold me over in the flex for 3 weeks until Calvin returns...think that is enough to do it? I see Larry Fitz as an improvment over Crabtree or Garcon with Palmer at QB. I thin kthe Hillman addition does it for me so I won't have to start Wheaton in the flex for the next couple of weeks.
