I think field goals might still be considered an offensive play in lieu of special teams. Hence a forward pass from a field goal wouldnt be defensive or special.
For instance punt returning is considered a transition from defense to offense, therefore it's special teams.
Returning a kick is a transition from defense to offense.
An int or fumble is considered a transition, so it counts for your DST.
Kicking a field goal is just a continuation of offense.
Furthermore, don't be butthurt if you don't get it.

Also another example. If the punt team were to fake and throw a pass for a TD. The punter would just be considered a QB throwing a pass. Punting is just a formation on offense to send the ball to the defense.
That wouldn't be a special teams TD in fantasy.

I feel bad for them. I used to be a die hard drafter of cutler. Took him 2 years for sure and it never panned out.
