Something is very wrong with Bumgarner; either the nerve issue or the flu is throwing him off. If you own him, you're rooting hard for it not being the neuroma.

Bumgarner barely sniffed the plate against Carter. Carter showed nice poise

I was watching on a tiny arse work television, but ESPN's radar gun had him 87-88 in the game vs. the Cubs last week?
Today he was up to 93, but struggling to throw the FB for strikes.

Pitchers try new things and work on their stuff during the spring. Nothing to worry about. Him being sick definitely played a factor today.
