Full point PPR
Need an RB2
Dion Lewis vs NE
Aaron Jones vs MIA

Both are expected to have good weeks
Jones is playing against one of the worst run defenses in the league, but Mike Mcarthy is an arse
Dion is playing a revenge game against the pats coming off two 20+ point weeks

quote:

Lewis not only played a ton of snaps last week out of their bye, but he’s been effective as both a runner and receiver, averaging 138.5 scrimmage yards per game the last two weeks. Lewis has 60+ receiving yards in each those contests, and he should be heavily featured as a receiver in this matchup. The Patriots have allowed the fourth-most catches to RBs this season (58), including 3 TDs through the air. Lewis could be the focal point of this passing attack this week with some injuries at WR and with Corey Davis facing a major test.

quote:

Dion Lewis has touched the ball 42 times for 279 scrimmage yards the last two weeks as he has taken over the backfield (104 snaps to 38 for Henry). He has 136 snaps the last three games. He has the #7 Elusive Rating at PFF. He is 12th amongst backs in yards after contact. The Pats have allowed the fourth most receptions to running backs this season.

Jones is a good play this week but Im playing Dion Lewis here because he is the man in this backfield now and he should get the volume.

the Packers went right back to Jones after his back-breaking second-half lost fumble. Running behind an underrated Packers line that ranks No. 3 in the NFL in yards created before contact per carry (3.3), this is a blowup opportunity for Jones as a home-favorite lead back versus a walkover Dolphins front that got steamrolled for 163/831/5 (5.10 YPC) rushing by enemy backs in its last six games.

This is as good a time as ever for Jones to pop off and come through, this is tough, can you start both?

quote:

Aaron Jones fumbled last week, his first in over 150 NFL touches, and he was briefly benched. He still had 12 more snaps than Williams, and doubled him in carries (14 to 7). He has produced 85 scrimmage yards in 2-straight as he’s run for 162 yards total (6.2 YPC). He faces the team allowing the sixth most points a week to running backs.

quote:

Dion Lewis took control of the Titans’ backfield before their Week 8 bye and reasserted his dominance in last Monday night’s upset victory at Dallas, out-touching Derrick Henry 23 to 8 and out-snapping him 84% to 20% with Henry’s biggest contribution coming on a bunny goal-line score. Lewis has outgained Henry by a 245-yard margin in Tennessee’s last two games, while New England has yielded a cool 4.36 yards per carry and the NFL’s second-most receiving yards (550) to running backs. With 15-plus touches in 5-of-8 games and touch counts of 19 and 23 in the last two

quote:

Start of the Week: Aaron Jones vs. Dolphins: Even before Ty Montgomery’s game-ending lost fumble on a kickoff return against the Rams, the Packers had shown they were moving away from him and more toward Jones. Montgomery played just 11.5% of the snaps in L.A. in Week 8 and was then traded to Baltimore two days later. Over the last two games, Jones has been in on 61.5% and 58.1% of the plays. Both were Green Bay losses, but it’s a monumental leap after playing less than 30% of the downs his first four games. Jones has set season-highs in carries two-straight weeks with rushing lines of 12-86-1 against the Rams and 14-76-0 versus New England. He’s also run 40 routes in the pass game in that period, securing four of his five targets. Jamaal Williams is still a thorn in the side of Jones, but this being a two-man backfield is much more palatable than the three-man committee it was with Montgomery in the picture. The Packers are now coming back home as heavy 9.5-point favorites against a Dolphins unit that is 29th in fantasy points allowed to running backs and 32nd in total rush yards allowed to the position while surrendering over 4.6 YPC. Lamar Miller flamed this defense in Week 8 for 133 yards and a score on 18 carries as the overall RB11. The previous week, Kerryon Johnson turned 19 carries into 158 yards. And the game before that, Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combined for 100 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. As long as coach Mike McCarthy stays committed to Jones’ talent, he should have no problem returning top-30 numbers this week with a good shot at again setting a season-high in carries. Upside is obviously there for a much bigger afternoon. Green Bay’s implied team total of 28.5 points is fifth-highest on the week.

Big opportunity for Jones if he gets the volume...

quote:

Dion Lewis: He’s had 155 and 122 yards from scrimmage the past two games as the Titans are hopefully realizing that he is arguably their best offensive player. The Patriots rank 28th in receiving points allowed per game to backs (14.3) and have allowed five or more receptions to an individual back in four of their past five games.

quote:

Aaron Jones: He set a season-high for snaps again last week with 43 and had a season-high 16 touches. The Packers did go back to him after his costly fumble last week, which instills some confidence that they won’t pull the plug on his expanding use. Jones has rushed 26 times for 162 yards (6.2 YPC) over the past two weeks and the Dolphins are allowing 120 rushing yards per game to opposing backfields on the season, 30th in the league.

Im playing Dion Lewis if I cant play both, lets see if Jones can finally pop off here and match the implied numbers and match up.

Pick 2, non-ppr, for RB2 and Flex:

Joe Mixon
Nick Chubb
Sony Michel
Duke Johnson, Jr.

I think Mixon is a yes.

So chubb vs Michel vs johnson.

Chubb is lowest floor I feel. Johnson had a huge game last week and I'm curious to see if that was an outlier or a harbinger of his growing roll in the offense with a new OC in Cleveland. Michel was getting feature back touches before he got hurt but he's iffy coming back from his injury.

Currently, I've got it with Mixon and chubb but i could be talked into johnson or michel.

ETA: Cleveland is playing atlanta who has given up a ton of yards receiving to RBs which further complicates the Chubb and duke johnson touches.

Chubb had 23 touches last week, hes locked and loaded in this backfield and is almost a must play weekly because he will hit volume, script could swing toward a Johnson play tho if it gets out of hand although I would want to see it again from Duke, Im playing Chubb and Mixon and hanging my hat on volume.
